Our monitoring services include human verification of all services reporting down on your server. Our system polls your server as frequently as every 5 minutes on up to 13 predefined ports, as well as custom ports, if required.

      


Our team is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to restart your services and/or reboot your server upon verification of service or server failure.



 
Reaction
We provide two levels of monitoring to meet your server's unique needs. Our Reaction package provides monitoring on 13 standard ports used on most web hosting servers, as well as 2 custom ports, for any custom software you may have running that you wish us to monitor. We will work with you to craft a response procedure for custom ports and server downtime events that our monitoring team will follow in the event of a server emergency. Such a response procedure might look like this:

Incident: Server completely offline (no ping/SSH/http)
Response: Bring the server back online via the following procedure:
   1. Call Data Center at 888-222-3334, Press '4'.
   2. Provide DataCenter staff with ID# 392387.
   3. Inquire about network availability.
   4. Request Immediate reboot.
   5. Call back every 5 minutes until server is online.

This package provides all of the benefits of the Reaction package, but also includes administrative assistance in mitigating Denial of Service attacks. DOS attacks can strike at any time, and a preliminary response by our administrative team to these events can be critical to bringing your server back online as soon as possible.
