Your reviewers should be reading the prelims, not building them
Somewhere between 10 and 100 skilled nursing and post-acute facilities, month end turns into assembly. Prelims, AP, GL review, payroll questions, daily cash and a PBJ date that does not move all land on the same few people, and the ones who should be reading the numbers spend the month preparing them.
A dedicated finance team takes the preparation. Your onshore team keeps review and publishing.

“The team shows up, works hard, takes feedback, and cares. It feels like an extension of our organization.”
Where month end stalls
Six jobs that stop fitting in the month as buildings get added.
Preliminary financials
Every building needs a set and every set needs a reader. The readers end up finishing preparation, and commentary thins out as the calendar runs down.
Accounts payable
One linen vendor lands in housekeeping at one building and laundry at another. Administrators field the payment calls. Approvals wait on whoever is in the building that week.
GL review
Someone reads every invoice line on a schedule of expenses, for several hours per facility. What slips past comes back as corrective entries and revised reports.
Payroll investigation
An owner asks why labor moved. The answer is split across payroll, the GL and reports pulled per pay date. One 23-facility accounting team spent 3 to 4 hours per facility finding it.
Daily cash
You need the position, line of credit availability and projected balances when the day starts. Banks, the GL and card providers each hold a piece, so it gets assembled during the morning.
PBJ
Staffing data is due 45 days after each quarter ends, for every building. CMS does not accept late files, and a building that submits nothing gets a one-star staffing rating for the quarter.
What a dedicated finance team takes on
How it works with your onshore team and Sage Intacct
A clean handoff
We prepare the prelims and hand them to your onshore team for review and publishing, so local staff are not buried in reconciliations and data entry.
Inside your Sage Intacct
No integrations, no duplications. The team is already trained in Sage Intacct, learns your workflows during onboarding and aligns to your dimensions, approval rules and reporting structure.
Access you control
The team works within role-based access that you control, limited to the modules the work needs. You keep real-time visibility through Sage dashboards and reporting tools, plus regular summaries and check-ins.
Part of your finance team
At Paradigm Healthcare, our team joins all-hands meetings and takes part as a member of the broader finance organization.
Where software fits on top
People suit preparation and judgment. Where a rule can be stated, software can carry it. Each result below has its own published case study.
Every build through our Software Development team starts with a written spec and a clickable prototype.
Paradigm Healthcare: 30+ facilities, blended onshore
Paradigm operates 19 nursing homes and provides back-office accounting for another 12 facilities. Finding finance staff who were both competent and committed had become difficult and expensive in the US market.
A dedicated team now prepares the prelims, runs AP and vendor payments, supports treasury and assists with payroll. Prelims arrive on time, which keeps lenders and owners aligned, with no added local headcount. Joshua Fineman has already recommended us to peers in long-term care.
“If people are looking for good value, hard workers, and results, you should absolutely consider Touch Support as a partner.”
